1. How did you hook up with King of Clubs?
After failed attempts at trying to put together an all original music
project and then joining a band as rhythm guitarist, I decided to put
together this band. Simply frustrated at not finding serious enough players.
2. What do you like about being in this band?
Right now I absolutely love being in this band. Through various line-up
changes, dealing with their personal issues or just plain delusional idiot
issues. The current line-up of this band is what it should be, and what
should have always been!
3. What do you do when King of clubs is not rockin'?
I enjoy spending time with my family. I also write original music for a
side band I wish to record and eventually play out. I also like to travel
when time permits.
4. Who are your influences/ favorite musicians?
I originally started getting into Kiss, then Judas Priest, and then on
to guitar gods like Eddie Van Halen and George Lynch. My influence list is
endless.
5. What are some of the bands you dig?
Judas Priest, Van Halen, CCR, Billy Joel, Queensryche, Tool, Megadeth,
Rush Godsmack,Disturbed,
6. How did you get started in music?
I have been very fortunate to have grown up around music. My father
played guitar in a band, and also played music all the time, so it sparked a
lot of early interest. In school I actually played saxophone, but that
didn’t last long. Since there was a guitar around my house all the time, I
started really becoming interested in that. It helped growing up around
friends who also played guitar and had the same music interests.
7. What was the coolest show or venue you’ve ever played?
I enjoyed the very first full show with this band. A lot of friends and
family were there to support us. Various shows and venues were memorable and
also forgettable. I look forward to future shows with this line-up to which
I believe will be our best shows!!
